Great Lakes Outdoor Summit
October 27, 2023 from 9-4 p.m.
Zeitgeist Arts Cafe, Duluth, Minnesota
The Great Lakes Outdoor Summit, curated by the Duluth Area Outdoor Alliance (DAOA), is a gathering of outdoor recreation advocates, enthusiasts, businesses, and adventurers. The Summit exists to bring outdoor recreation non-profits, land managers, as well as the companies and individuals that support their work, together to interact and learn from each other in a fun, friendly, and inclusive environment.
The 2023 Great Lakes Summit will be held on October 27th at Zeitgeist Arts Theater in Duluth Minnesota. Adventurer Emily Ford will the inaugural Keynote Speaker. The Summit will include six informational sessions between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sessions categories range from environmental stewardship, inclusivity, marketing, volunteer recruitment, working with land managers and an introduction to Minnesota’s new state agency The Outdoor Industry Partnership. The Summit is funded through a City of Duluth Tourism Grant.
Outdoor activities are planned to accompany the Summits agenda and to allow attendees to experience all that Duluth has to offer. Come teach, inspire and learn from folks who have been treading the paths of the outdoors in many ways and for many years!
